The local area Mission Committee have arranged a screening of Antwone Fisher, directed by and starring Denzel Washington (15 Certificate). It will take place at the community cinema at Blantyre Miners Welfare Centre on Sunday, 7th November, at 2.30 pm Tickets are £2.50 and are available in advance from Derek Hotchkiss or at the door. There will be discussion and tea after the film.

Sanctuary First is an idea launched in October 2009 by Sanctus Media, a not for profit organisation operating out of St Andrew’s Bo’ness. The aim is to establish a network of worship around the globe to inspire and encourage people on a daily basis.
At Hillhouse we are interested in out reach in this way and we hope to become a hub for Sanctuary First and utilise the internet to help spread the word of the Lord.
In August there is to be a meeting for interested parties and we will bring your more about this exciting project then.

This years Congregational Outing is going to Dean Castle Country Park on Sunday 13th June. We will be leaving directly after the service and are due to return around 5.30pm.

Whatever the weather this is always a great day out so why not come along and join in the fun!
This years Christmas Fayre will be in the church halls on Saturday 27th November. There will be a variety of stalls, tombola and tea room aswell as a special visitor for the children.
The Christmas Fayre is always a well attended event and it is a good idea to get in early to have the best choice at the stalls.

Anyone wishing to be a part of this production is invited to complete a form available from either Liz or Jean any Sunday morning or download a copy here. Once all the forms are back the ladies will let you know where your help, time and talents are best needed.
Rehearsals will begin after the summer and the performances will be on the 26th, 27th, 28th and 29th of January 2011.
This year the panto is going to be videoed and a DVD will be available to buy at the beginning of February 2011.
Each year at Hamilton Hillhouse we hold Car Boot sales in our car park. The dates for this year are ;

There is a Songs of Praise service in Livingston Memorial Parish Church in Blantyre on Sunday May 16th at 6.30pm. This service has been organised by the Hamilton Area Mission Committee. Please give your full support to this service.
