At the start of Christian Aid Week we welcomed the Fair Trade Group from Townhill Primary School who told us of how through Fair Trade they raised sufficient money to send three children to school in Malawi for a year and encouraged us to follow their example.

Our worship this morning was led by members of our Girls Brigade and was much appreciated by all who were in attendance.We are extremely fortunate in having such a talented and dedicated group of young people as part of our congregation and we know you will enjoy sharing in this service.

If you find the Prayers of Intercession slightly muffled this is due to the fact that by this time David had been joined in the chancel by two of the very young members in the congregation,one of whom who decided to sit on David’s knee.
He was obviously impressed as he didn’t utter a sound throughout and looked very pensive at the end.

This morning our worship was led by Rev.Graham Austin from St.Mark’s Church,Coltness,Wishaw who led the team carrying out the Quinquennial Visitation earlier in the week. As you will hear,his contribution to our service,including an energetic Hokey Cokey and a most interesting and unusual sermon, was greatly appreciated.
