Junior Church is our up to date name for Sunday School.
It was felt that we should move away from school like teaching and help children to learn about their faith in a more action based, creative crafting, game playing way. This is why we decided to drop "school" from our title and became the juniors learning about the church.
When children are enjoying what they do and are actively participating in a learning activity they remember more about what we are helping them learn about their faith.
Our creche is available for babies and toddlers up to the age of three. We have books, dolls, soft toys and various other games and activities to keep even the most active toddler amused.
The beginners department is for children from the age of three until they go to school and is a great introduction for children understanding their faith. They learn all about the great Bible stories thay we all remember from our Sunday School days like Daniel and the Lions Den, Noah's Ark and the life of Moses
Our Junior Department is for those children in P1-P4 who learn about their faith and praising God through singing choruses and various other activities.
The Senior Department is for children in P5-P7 and they enjoy making large freizes depicting various well know Bible stories, learning British Sign Language, playing Bible oriented games and exploring their faith through "Friends and Heroes" study material.
